Bardral URAYASU paid a courtesy visit to Chinese Taipei Football Association based in Taipei on Friday the 22nd of April.

During the visit, both parties discussed their future partnership as well as the alignment for the recently announced “Great East Japan Earthquake Reconstruction Friendly Match” to be held on Saturday the 21st of May (in Urayasu, Chiba), inviting the Chinese Taipei national futsal team.

The coach of the national futsal team/ Deputy General Secretary of Chinese Taipei Football Association, Mr. Thomas Chen stated as follows; “I have known Bardral URAYASU since its predecessor team, “Predator Futsal Club”.  I have always been fond of them ever since we had a practice match with them at a training camp held in Japan prior to Futsal World Championship Chinese Taipei 2004. I was a player then, but now as a coach, I am honored to have been invited by such a respectable team and feel a special bond with them”.
Bardral URAYASU and Chinese Taipei Football Association have both agreed on the idea that they will create continuous opportunities for international exchange between Chinese Taipei and Japan through futsal, taking another step forward with this friendly match.

“There are still those who are suffering a lot of damage caused by big earthquakes including the one recently hit Kumamoto.

At the time of The Great East Japan Earthquake five years ago, great support from the people of Taiwan provided a huge underpinning for reconstruction and I have heard that our city Urayasu has also received support from them.

We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to the people of Taiwan through this friendly match.

At the same time, I hope that futsal in each Asian country will be enhanced through this kind of activities, in coordination with each other”.
